Robert Andrew Hildebrand of Cold Spring was a Tail Gunner on a B-17 in Europe.
He kept a diary from the time of his induction until the day before his death in Kiel, Germany.
His nephew Ray Hildebrand has written a short book about his uncle Bob which he is making available to the Bellevue Vets.
